Bruce Michael Miller: Guestbook
Karen Miller Serb
May 2, 2012
I have been searching for my natural mother since 1985. I just located her, my natural father and siblings last weekend. My mother Helen Serb passed in 2009. I will never have the chance to meet her in this world. She was born in Daisy, OK and was married to my father for 44 years, who was a sailor in the US Navy. My brother hired a live band to play your song "Oklahoma Girl and a Sailor" at my mother's funeral. They are resting together at Fort Rosecare National Cementary. I desperately would like to hear your song, in memory of my late mother. How can I find it?

Bruce,
I'm astounded by your voice, your music and your lyrics. They are all wonderful and so special! No wonder your son is so marvelous. He's inspired by you!
I am going to order your present CD so that Ramsess and can sit looking at our glorious view and share your glorious sounds. What a delight you are.
I am now listening to "Already Somebody". I'm certain your son listening to this is comforted by it.
Thank you for sharing your talent with me. It's touched my heart.
Love, Sondra

Hey Bruce! I'm not able to email you to any of your addresses for some reason...so I'm trying this! Here's my reply....
Hi Bruce!
Of course I remember you! So happy you took the time to find me and that you
and your family are thriving in Nashville. Beautiful songs on your website, by the
way. Beautifully written, sang, played and recorded! I love reading about your
enthusiasm....it shows in your music, my friend. And your voice sounds better then
ever. I didn't know you played with all those famous people. Egad! I knew about
Laura Branagan, but man, what a bio you have!
Congratulations on your son's musical success. I remember when he was born!
Time o time. I will check him out on Facebook. Say hi to Billy for me. He's a great
MC and musician.
Life is good over here. I'm living in a sweet lil craftsman back house in Long Beach.
Very peaceful with lots of flowers and trees all around.
I've had a flurry of creativity and released my poetry book, Dreams for Sale, Poems
and Lyrics last year and been doing poetry/music shows. Released my 3rd CD of
country songs, called Countrified and signed for the first time with a commercial
acting agency in 2009 and got real lucky with a TV national commercial for Home
Depot.
My good buddy, Don Raymond, and I are doing a duo and will be shooting a music
video this Sunday so we have some current PR to get gigs! I'll send you our EPK
which should hopefully get done in a few weeks.
Thanks so much for contacting me, Bruce. This is such a nice surprise. I have some
dear friends who live in Nashville and was out there last year for their wedding. Let's
keep in touch. It'd be great to see you and your family next time I'm out that way.
BTW, best to email me at JKurman@verizon.net
My website address email takes days to get to me.
All the best with love and blessings,
Jo Anne

Hello Bruce...thank you for spending such quality time with me on the mentoring session in Toronto! It was a great experience. You helpful suggestions and pleasant approach made it a comfortable experience I would recommend to anyone!
Also, thank you so much for your hospitality during my stay in Nashville. You and your family made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Your cottage retreat is a perfect place to stay for out of town writer's--like myself. The peace and privacy was a compliment to a busy schedule when I needed some "down-time".
